The Bandit Corydoras fish is a small, striking freshwater catfish commonly known as meta river corydoras fish and masked corydoras fish. It is native to the meta river basin of Columbia.

The fish is known for the characteristic black “bandit-mask” stripe. They are bottom-dwelling scavengers popular in the aquarium hobby. The fish has a peaceful nature, active schooling behaviour, & suitability for community tanks.

In a well-set-up aquarium they make an excellent choice for both beginner and intermediate aquarists.
