Reticulated Corydoras

Reticulated Corydoras fish is scientifically known as Corydoras reticulatus. It is a peaceful bottom-dwelling freshwater catfish known for its striking reticulated (net-like) patterning across a silvery body. The fish originates in the lower basil of Brazil and is valued for both its charming schooling behaviour and community-tank suitability.

The fish is commonly known as Network catfish, network cory, Harald Schultz's Corydora, or mosaic cory. It actively forages along the substrate and is an excellent choice for community aquariums. They thrive when kept in groups and feel stress free.

Reticulated corydoras size ranges between 5–7 cm (approximately 2 - 2.8 inches) in a well-maintained aquarium.

1. Small tetras (e.g., neon, cardinal)
2. Small rasboras
3. Dwarf gouramis
4. Other peaceful, bottom-friendly catfish (that won’t bully them)

Avoid Pairing With

1. Large aggressive cichlids (which may intimidate or prey on them)
2. Very large predatory fish
3. Fast-moving, fin-nipping species
4. Fish that live predominantly on the bottom and will out-compete them for space
