Luxury Bone Trunk for Dog Sparks ₹14 Lakh Social Media Debate

Ajay Thakore, also known as Ace Rogers, is making waves online after spending a jaw-dropping INR14 lakh (around USD 17,000) on a luxury Louis Vuitton "Bone Trunk" suitcase for his dog, Aspen. The stylish suitcase is shaped like a bone and includes a varnished wooden tray and two bowls, making it a designer treat for the lucky pooch.

Thakore shared a video on Instagram, joking, "I think my dog has something to pick up," while entering the store.

The post went viral with over 1.7 million views but also sparked a backlash. Many criticized the purchase as wasteful, suggesting the money could have helped shelter dogs or other causes. Comments ranged from “Think about what INR 14 lakh could do for shelter dogs” to “This shows what’s wrong with society.”

In his defense, Thakore pointed to his wealth and philanthropy, claiming he donates generously and supports hundreds of jobs. He also mentioned that his family lives comfortably with $100 million in trust funds.

This isn’t Thakore’s first controversy. Earlier this year, he allegedly threatened a dock worker in California during a dispute over parking his yacht. The "Bone Trunk" saga has reignited discussions on how wealthy individuals choose to spend their money and their social responsibilities.
